Bieniek and I were hoping to make another trip to the UP on March 3rd and 4th. We were thinking about trying the Parkview Lodge in Twin Lakes, it seems like a pretty big snowmobile destination. Has anyone ventured over there recently? How are the trails looking?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info, we're locked in for March 3rd. The lady at the lodge said they got about 8 inches of snow last night, hopefully some of that went south too.
Tons of sledders there in your picture too, why is it such a hot spot?

Parkview is RIGHT on a corridor trail so almost everyone stops, its one of the nicer (newer cleaner) places up there, but we have never had much luck with the service.

But they always have one of the sledding videos playing made by the local kids who jump highways with their sleds and utterly destroy their Ski Doo Rev's off trail. They are a riot to watch. Great place to stop for a beer. The trail section in that area is usually beat up anyways. Downside is their access trail is 4 foot moguls for about 100 yards.

Does anyone know any gas stations in the area? We don't really feel like paying $4.50 a gallon across the street all weekend.

There's also gas available at Pat's Yamaha in Greenland, which is only a mile or two northwest of Mass City. It's right on the main trail.
The "Pitstop" is right across the street. Great place to have something to eat and drink if you're in the area.
