bergstrom carbides

Yes, stock 2011 ski's, and the Bergstroms did come with ski savers about 1/4" thick. There was a small rectangular plastic block that appears to go over one of the mounting studs under the host bar, which one is the question, I couldn't find out on Bergstrom's site, so for now it is under the front mounting location. If this is not correct please advise where it is supposed to go.
So shims under the rear of the rubber ski bumpers like the 06-10 ski's are required as well?

yes, your right with the savers, yes, plug the holes in the ski rubbers and shim the back. just make sure the carbides are touching front to back when sled is sitting on level surface.

My Bergstroms for my 08 Nytro came with the savers and the block, i called them and he told me to flip my rubber saddle and place the block under the rubber (between ski and rubber) at the rear, this gave the ski a very toe high setup when off the ground. He also stated the saver was to set the carbide correctly on flats as well as give better shape for a little deeper snow. I only had a little "darting" when off throttle (nose down) such as coming to a stop sign or crossing but i marked this up to mostly due to my A Arm bushings being shot. I attached the best pic of my old Sled on a stand showing how high my skis sat i had a comparison picture but cant find it on my phone, i would say before this was done the top of the loop was at the bottom of the ski. so it tipped the toe up the height of the loop if that makes sense.

I bought some regular carbides 8'' not the triples from bergStrom this spring and had them within a few days. I couldn't have been more impressed with their spacer and shim system and knowledge.
