I remember being told that the bog in deep snow is caused by the exhaust, so with mods coming this summer what can is best? i plan on doing one and the bogging drives me CRAZY so what do you guys think is best solution?

Hey I remember reading that the powder guys where installing a defector shield to keep the snow from packing into the exhaust pipe

I ended up making a deflector out of a piece of aluminum pipe. It does help with deep snow bogging, particularly when doing right hand side-hilling.;)!

I've got the sandale and there's virtually no bogging now. My wife's sled is stock and it's terrible.

good to hear thats the pipe on my short list

Any opposition to an aftermarket fuel controller? Lean the top end out a little and I'm guessing Ulmer has a map for the airbox mod and a new pipe. I think he was charging $20 for maps which is a song compared to dyno time.

We run the GGB cans. No bog. Sounds great. And work really well with our airbox mod.
