Hey gang--
Just got my first snowmobile (2010 Nytro FX) after borrowing friends and families sleds for years. 1st, I was wondering what engine oil you recommended or thought was the best out there to offer the best protection, longetivity for the engine. 2nd, does anyone recommend any fuel additives or fuel stabilizers? Thanks alot for your replys.

you will get a ton of different answers for the oil. Personally i run the yamaha stuff in my phazer and only add stabilizers when i store the sled.
Congrats on the new sled and welcome!

yamalube, amsoil, mobil 1 (did i miss any) will be the answers you get. guess i've never witnessed an oil related failure. change it when you put the sled away - avoid running it long after you replace it (easier said then done) and change the filter every other change. i run sea foam in my sled regularly thru the season, but try to have it in for the last few runs - i also stable the gas on the last run and then i drain the gas tanks completely once they are on the trailer ready to cover.
