Hey guys-- Just picked up a 2010 Nytro fx a few months ago and it is pretty much stock. Want to do some mods this summer. In your opinion, what is the best performance muffler out there that isn't very much louder than stock? Also, would you recommend the pipe as well like the excell stystem? Thanks alot for your input.

From my experience aftermarket mufflers are a lot louder. I'm told changing the pipe adds horsepower without adding noise.

Ulmer sells the header. I have it and it makes a little different tone; but not louder.....at least until I put the blower on this summer :). By the way..I will have a Ulmer intake kit and Holtzman 45hp nitrous set up for sale after I put the blower in ;)

The Hindle full system with a 20" muffler and noise reducer is very quiet...if you are on facebook you can see a clip of it on their page.

brown.dog, fill in your location in the profile. In my opinion they are all loud, I like the Schmidt Brothers.

Tom has your Schmidt gotten any louder? How many miles on the can?

I dont think its any louder then the day I put it on. I have about 3000 miles on her now

I really like the Schmidt Bros. nytro dual exhaust as well. I am able to ride at slow speeds between horses within their fenced area. The horses are not startled and do not move as I drive through. I do this at the request of the horse farm owner in order to pack down the snow which enables the horses to walk and feed easier.

I have a brand new skinz ultra q and think I will sell it and get a Schmidt but there pricey!

I had one of those and switched too... I hated the skinz can.

I guess not too many people do like em. There's one on Ebay for $80.00

Dose any body sell an under tunnel exhaust system for the nytro XTX ? and if not has any body custom made one ?

Check with stopdropanroll on here he makes a kit I ordered mine last week can't wait to get it!

I thought the Schmidt Bros dual exhaust sounded sweet on You Tube videos but was intimidated by the cost... luckily I found a used one for about half cost of new.
