I ride on all trails and want to buy an exhaust for my new rx-warrior next year to get a little more sound out of it. What do you think is the best chouce the swichabe model so i can have loud on some trails and ner sto ck on others. I have heard a few sleds with them but am not sure how loud the one that saves 11lbs is. Thanks

Hey there, I talked to Arne Jr. at White Knuckle Performance, He is the most courteous person I have delt with on exhaust. If you want to hear sound clips, he has them on the website whiteknuckleperformance . I have the race version coming for my RX1 for racing on asphalt. Some say it is way too loud for trail use, but for my situation, it is perfect. They also have a quiet version, that sounds awesome. I think that would be for you. Price is around 4 bills.

I would think the switchable exhaust system is the way to go. Quiet or loud it's your choice :!: And it's only $50 more money

I think the switchable will be the way to go. I called up white nuckle and asked him about a swichable and he said they dont last. But he dosent sell them. Anyone run one so i can get a idea if it will last 5,000 + miles without falling apart. Later

Bye an exhaust that that exits 6-8 inchs further back. The location where it is now make an absolute mess of the back of the machine with the tunnel extensions that I have, after a days drive.

Try Royal Distributing,I don't think they have the whole exhaust, just a MBRP silencer, that should sound great on a 4-stroke,i had one for my MM last year.www.royaldistributing.com

What about gutting out your orginal muffler ?? On the old posts, it was said that you saved some weight and it was a little louder ?? Can anyone verify this ??

I think that Bender is the only company that makes the switchable muffler. They are just now becoming available so I'm not sure were "they won't last " comes from 8)

I dont want to dish out $500 buy might pay $399. They say the 04 might be cheeper because it attached in the back insted of under the gas tank. I will see that the swichable goes for once they make it for the 04. Later
Ive had the mbrp system on since january and love it,ive went for a ride just to here it,if your not on the throttle nobody would notice, the police never asked any questions through numerous spot checks while ticketing others for cans.

Where did you buy the MBRP system from? Was it the whole exhaust system you changed?
