Just like the title says, what's the best money you've spent on your Nytro? What accessory or mod gave you the biggest bang for the buck?

Personally, the best money I've spent was the $15 on the telescoping shovel you can see strapped to the sled. I can't believe how much it comes in handy, and the best thing about it is that it reduces the fear of getting stuck by myself, so I've got more courage exploring new places and poking around in the trees.

money

Best money I have spent on my nytro is the schmidt bros clutch kit.Lowers engagement and pulls like a bear all the way through.Put it in and forget it,correct rpms from bottom to top.

I would have to say my FXR Octane boots. Super warm water proof and great support. I have not rolled an ankle or crushed my heal since I've hade them and that has been I think 7 years. Only down side is that they are sncross boots so you have to get use to them when walking.

For me...Pioneer revalve and OFT steering relocator.
I wanna know more about the steering relocator.

This is from their website..."The relocator kit is designed to move the oem Nytro FX, RTX, XTX and MTX steering shaft forward. this helps overcome the "wishy washy" feeling of the nytro steering, by providing a more "traditional" sled's steering angle. This kit moves the oem shaft 6 degrees forward of the original position, which equates to about 5" of forward/upward movement of the handlebars. In addition this kit provides you with a greatly reduced steering radius - it's da bomb in the trees! The kit also replaces the weak and wear prone plastic steering bushing at the bottom with an OFT Racing billet block, and an oilite bushing for a much more stable linkage feel".

Go to oftracing.com and check it out...or if you do a search (on the site here) type in OFT and search in the FX Nytro General Talk section and you will/should find a ton of info. It does exactly what it states on their website and puts the rider (well for me at least...6'1") at a perfect seating and standing position. I love it...

I would have to say the 1.75 Back Country I put on a few weeks ago! What a different sled, point and shoot!

Using this website to get it dialed in............... :rocks: and Yamaheater. Probably the worst mod was my windshield, it looks good but deflects all the wind right into my neck.

I ordered one today....

With everything done to my sled I still say it's my GPS. It has led me to more new untouched areas and I can go anywhere and still find a way home or a way to get around if the trails get crappy.

What one do you have. I am going to post a topic tonight because I have never thought about it before but now I want one.
