Hi otis/ross now that i know your name lol what is the most top speed you have run w/your rx1 out acrossed your lake at any time last year or this? Gps or radar. And for the record, studding if you were to run far enough would hurt top end more than help, but it is a bitch to stop w/only 96 studs

if all of you guys rolled on at say 80 mph and than ran 1.5 miles you would be surprised at how close they would be. Now my take on all of this is traction, clutching, and filters work best for trail riding when on/off throttle period. Now my cousin and me were out on little ossipee lake in waterboro, yesterday, and my bonehead mistake of advancing my tps to far was causing way to much heat, and a loss of top rpms to boot, but here goes,he has a little more traction than i doo, plus i have a cat skid w/huge rear springs that will not squat at all under aceleration, maybe if you can hook up maybe a little, but on ice not even close, just spins free for 50' at least and he has almost the same exception,1/2 of his are megabites both have 144 woodys 1.075 stock track, and this track is good for top speed,we ran back and forth either direction, one way w/wind to our backs was 4-5 hph faster, now i have been consitantly running on some other ponds w/varying conditions same top speed 115-116 gps depending on how much snow you were pushing, and or how much pure ice you were traveling acrossed for what distance, ice makes alot of heat w/out slide lubers,so if he pulled me off the line it would take me all most 1 mile to overtake him,if we were on snow were i could use the extra power of the filters and clutching,i would pull right away 5-6 sleds easy,if we rolled on at say 70 or so preety even, his best 115 mine yesterday 116 now i still think my mistake of tps and lack of revs was slowing me down, just my 20 cents worth he he have a great day guys.
