Best money you've ever spent on a mod or accessory

I would say either my backpack or map bag, I can't go without storage. The slydog skis are a huge improvement in powder but I can't tell yet if it actually handles better on hard pack snow. I would put a spare 2 gallon gas tank at #1 but I have no room to carry it except on another sled!
What Nytro do you have? I have a 5 litre can on the back of my XTX. Loads of room for it.

I have the 121" base model. It was handed down to me, I would have gotten the XTX if I had the choice. Absolutely no room on the back for even my little shovel.

I'm with the YamaHeater crowd... best $$$ I've spent so far but after reading this thread I'm thinking I'm about to $pend some more! My wife says "thanks a lot"! :yam:

Well, I've had the chance to test out the new track, and I have to say I absolutely love it. Hooks up so much better, it makes it feel like I've got a horsepower boost.

Out playing around yesterday it struck me how a few minor changes can really change your sled for the better. The first year I had it, living in Ontario, all I did was play with a few settings, and add Skinz heatlocs to keep my hands warm. For trail riding it's very good as is.

This year, with all the snow we have, and riding off trail almost all the time, the Gripper skis, narrower ski stance, 3.5 inch bar riser and backcountry track have turned it into an excellent boondocking tool. Much easier to maneuver and throw around in tight-tree, deep-snow conditions. I've fallen in love with the sled all over again.

I still think the shovel is the best money I ever spent though.
