Excel is a little pricy for me to be honest,Is there a good pipe out there for maybe 4-500 bucks? I want a loud street bike kind of pipe!

Most systems come with some instructions but its not a very hard job but of course this depends on your abilities I guess.

Do you have to take things apart in the motor or does it do it from under the seat and such?

Ok,I narrowed my choice down to two slip ons,The AAEN Slip on or the Hauck Slip on,Which one is louder and has a better sound? The AAEN claims 6hp gain just from the slip on,True or False? I am looking to save some weight and get a nice sound,I am really leaning towards the Hauck slip on,Do these things make more power and do they have a nice sound?

Also do you have to remap or just throw the slip on and thats it?

MBRP has a nice louder sound. And fit and finish is really good. Didn't remap but I bet it would help with any muffler to get the full benefits.

I had an MBRP and ditched it after one ride. It made the motor miss at certain RPM's when grabbing a handful of throttle. Stock the sled runs fine. I would be inclined to go with Aaen, I have ran their stuff before with good luck and they don't have overly inflated HP gains.

i would be careful i had the husher, and it had the same effects as NOLkia, the customer service is'nt there, talked with pat himself numerous times and they just wanted to sell me more junk, swapped the husher, and stock exhast numerous times tried his suggestions and hesitation was still there, by the way the i marked out about 1000 feet and the stock was 2 mph faster at 96, husher was 93-94, no performance gain! but if you want a husher type exhast look at the fireball exhaust on ebay for $30 delivered, looks identical, just need some clamps and mid pipe.

I would recommend the pipes that came on your machine. Cost-$00

Actually, the way it works is you pay about $9500 for the pipe and get a free sled. An even better deal by any measure.

Some guys on the sites have been using the yoshamura pipe ( rs 5 ???) with good results. Some are seeing a 200 rpm gain on the top which is telling me they are making more hp's. They actualy look great also.
