I have a Yamaha one and can say it stopped a huge rock from going through. I hit the rock hard enough that it bent the front of my slide rails in the track to one side by about 2 inches. Bulkhead and belly pan are still intact.

I just installed the Yamaha skid on my sled and it is a perfect fit. Very easy to install.
