I am looking to get some skis to get rid of the darting from my sled,I was thinking about the Razors from C&A but I hear that they make the sled turn very heavy. Is this true?? Should I go with maybe a trail ski that will get rid of the darting as well? Give me some opinions and links,That would be great! Thanks!

i have the simmons flex ski with the dual carbides. they completely get rid of the darting. they do steer kind of heavy but mostly at slower speeds.
hope this helps

I looked at Razors and they are 550 for everything,Thats a little more then I want to spend on skis. Do the simmons come in white with black loops? Do I also have to buy the mount kit wit them?

USI Tripple X2's. I personally don't have expirence on an FX, but on my Apex they were awsome. I could tune out all darting and the steering effeort was less than stock. The adjustability is a great asset to have. I would at least take a look at them. They do offer white with black loops. That's what I'll be ordering shortly.

I love my C&A Razors. Yes they do steer hard at really slow to stop speeds. At normalto high speeds it steers on rails. Made a huge differance over the stock skis. Not sure where you saw the skis for $550, but I get mine from these guys http://www.kjmotorsports.com/store/

Thank you for all your replys,I have ordered C&A Razors from kjmotorsports. They were TONS cheaper then the 550 I was quoted from another company,Thank you snoman for the heads up. Seems to me we have the same taste in the white skis with black loops. I paid 412 with everything including tax and shipping was free. thanks again guys for all your replys!!
i have used many skis,
kimpex arrows are by far the best trail ski made that i have tried. they have all the bite of a simmons, less stearing effort than the stock skis and no, zero, absolutely no darting what so ever on any condition including icy plowed roads no mater if you run them shimmed or neutral. they just work.
you can even make over yamaha handles to fit them. lazer cut stainless mounts look nice. ski is very light, much lighter than the simmons, C+A, or curves i had.
best part is, everyone sells kimpex.

FYI, Make sure your sled is setup correctly as well ( toe out) Making sure that is correct does wonders on sleds with stock or aftermarket skis.

Blue ones. Get blue skis. Blue skis are the best.
Black skis are pretty good too.

I have sly dog Powder hounds on my sled and I find them great. All the darting is gone and these ski make an extreme amount of difference off trail in the deep stuff.

I don't understand...you ask for opinions, then within a few hours (And very few responses) you ordered a set. You have to give people more than 5 minutes to read and reply.....

It's been 5 days and I'm sure he has done quite a bit of searching (of websites and reviews) in the meantime.
BETHEVIPER, I'm somewhat interested in the Kimpex Arrows as well. I love the design. Do they have a thick profile and IYO a durable ski? What width would they be? Where did you find the cheapest price?
