They are 1.625" studs. I haven't had any problems so far. I've put about 100 miles on the sled now with the new track on it. I do have tunnel protectors that run the whole length of the tunnel to stop them from digging into the tunnel.

anyone try the long track kit from hartman inc, its only $590 to convert to a 1.5 by 136 thats cheap

Where did you get your snowflap?
I have Freeride track also.Its awesome.Only noticed about a 3mph loss on topend.Well worth it for traction I got in return.

I'd like to know this too. I see Hartman's rail extensions do not have a mount for an extended hyfax. A buddy of mine who wrenches professionally on sleds said to get the extensions with the hyfax provision. Tracks USA has 'em.
