Looking at 2010 Nytro RTX se new for 10500 in Canada. Are the newer ones basically the same or there significant improvements on the newer ones? The shock spec on the 2010 looks good. what did they make better?

2009 rtx se best year, it has a few things done to the timing ad the cdi that no other machine since then has had

Best year is whatever year you can a good deal on one was built -- they are all good. Obviously Yamaha has refined them over the years, but they are all good IMHO.
