Prices I've gotten are comparable.. Riding style: Ditch Banger with chance of mountains in the forecast, 30% trails around here though... To get to the fun spots. Any pos's or neg's between the 2? I have a 2" Challenger style polaris track now and like it... Just need to know if the Backcountry is a better track! Thanks for any and all input!

Both are great tracks can't really go wrong. It's that 30% trail where the BC is going to be better then the challenger. For that 30% trail I'd go with the BC, but again can't really go wrong either way. ;)!

What drivers are you going to run? Might want to thing about changing them if you go 2"

I think I'm going to go with the challenger. Read a good review on a Doo forum. Says that the BC is more prone to trenching due to the stiffer lugs(which will be worse on a Nytro haha) BUT it would probably outlast the challenger around here.. Soooo, sounds like I'm trding durability for no shovelling haha.

Well, I had this same question and talked to the camoplast guy at a show about this. He said they are both awesome tracks. The 2" challenger is the track all mountain tracks are based on. He thinks the 2" is a little big for the guys in the east but had no worries about torn lugs. He also talked about the first BC tracks and the current ones being different with the rubber in the lugs.

I went with the challenger and could not find a reason not too. You are going to need to cut your protectors off though. The BC does not require that.

just installed the Back country on my nytro. Heard some good and some bad about it but all around it seems solid.

portyamaha.com has them for 400.00 right now to, you won't find a better deal

nope, the price has changed, I was going to order another one just to get the great price and its up to 580 now... :o| man I shoulda bought two when I ordered my first one!!!

I went with the Challenger. I changed my track last year to a used 2" (Camoplast from a Polaris RMK). The track was pretty beat up to start with, but it was cheap and got me through the season. This year will be a brand new track, and i'm going with 9-tooth extro's, due to some ratcheting last season.
