Iam looking for info to built promax class apex or rx1 big bore and stroke on nitrous need at lease 400hp off nos any help is apriciated thank-you

400HP off NOS? Or 400HP of NOS?

I don't think 400HP possible without serious supercharging or turbocharging. Nitrous alone isn't gonna get it done, I don't believe.

It can be done, it will just be a one off system for a sled. Progressive controller, Pro Shot fogger Nozzles plummed into custom intake runners, seperate fuel system for the nitrous. Start with a Nano nitrous set-up to minimize the size of the bottle needed and also to maintain constant bottle pressure down the track. The motor must have rods, lower compression pistons, head studs and a very free flowing exhaust. Get to know someone that uses big nitrous systems on a car or mud truck. These guys are putting over 900+hp in nitrous to there motors.

It would be cool to see done.

N/A motor with 400HP would be a tough build but so would 400HP of nitrous in such a small motor.

I would talk to Jason and Straightline Performance and see if it can even be done.

That's a massive amount of power on NOS. Key to going in that range requires setting up with proper timing compensation, otherwise things go BANG real fast. Not really different than forced induction -- proper ignition timing is key to success.

Not gonna happens, stock engine breathing 100% nitrous will not go anywhere close to 400hp

Well, he wrote BIG bore and stroke....

But why not just ad a turbo?

Reason being a different class for racing. I believe it can be done. Adding to wildmans post, you will be to build the motor, je pistons, Carrillo rods, ar studs, change cams, add larger injectors or an aux fuel rail, etc. Good luck, let me know The results...
