I did the big venom upgrade in the fall and due to the lack of snow haven't really gotten an opportunity to do a good run until recently. I also did the barcode airbox mod and mbrp trail can. My 8jp belt seemed to pull slightly higher rpm but it went so I picked up a dayco xtx now. I can only seem to get 8700 rpm mid range and that's with the aluminum bolt installed, 3/8" steel bolt on the end and 3/4" Allen in the base. I figured with these mods I would've had to go up in weight.
Anyone else have a similar issue with similar mods?
Well think I found a culprit. I pulled the sled in this morning to clean out the clutches and noticed one of the 10mm bolts that hold the spider together is missing. To top it off the hole is stripped. Can't imagine that's doing wonders for balance
