Billet aluminum wheels

Cubby,

Sorry to hear about the problems you have had with those wheels. What your pictures show is exactly what I am worrying about. I am not running any studs in the track but am still concerned with road grit chewing up the wheels. Some amount of road grit is unavoidable if you trail ride. I am concerned that road grit between the aluminum wheel and the track is going to make a quick mess of the wheels. Are you going back to the stock wheels?? It really sucks that the person you spent $600 with went out of business! I had a similar problem with a set of oversize urethane wheels which I bought from Maximumm Performance. All the bearings on 6 wheels failed during a trip and left me stranded. They would not stand behind them either. Good luck!

to go to a 8 inch you need a offset axle or it will hang down below the rails i am going to be running 7 1/8 on my 121 rxt 1 as soon as i get it together
where can I get an offset axel ?? And will it work on a Rage without hitting anything?

I have superbeast's billet on my rx. I did notice that in off trail conditions that the upper idlers need to be roughed up a bit to create enough friction to keep them turning. Also noticed after 10 miles of "good" UP trails that they were all somewhat rough... That being said, I need to save a little more coin so I can put them on the Apex. And yes, I will be calling superbeast again.

Super Beast,

Nice write-up on your 1200 Polaris in the Jan issue of SnowSports. Looks like you have some serious hours into that baby!

Great to hear your next project is an RX-T!!
