Billet reverse handle?

Does anyone make one? I have broken 2 reverse handles on my '05 Vector. They just snap in half if the linkage binds.

i think they are breaking the plastic ones...hence they want a billet one. trick is to not force it. if it wont go with 2 fingers u have to rock the sled or drive it a tad to release pressure from drive

exactly; don't force it, rock the sled a little! Going to a billet handle will now put the strain on the linkages if you continue to force it and something in there will now break.

Can anyone confirm that this will work on an '05 Vector? I was told by Port Yamaha that it's for an Apex and is not the same as an old style Vector (different body styles).

I did not put it on my venture but I put an apex reverse handle on my 04 rx1 and it fits no problem. I am sure it would fit on my rs venture as well as it is the same body style.
