I Know there was a post on here about brainerd and how we had 19 phazers in the sport 85 class. All I have to say is wow how cool that was to be in the starting grid and look around and see 18 other phazers. To be honest I didnt know what to exspect out of this, as fare as tallent go's. I know Trevor John is A great rider so I ruled him out.
I was given the green flag and I knew I had 5 laps on a very rough whooped out sx/xc track, I didnt mind it, how ever I think others did. Lots of carnage. Not me I rode smart and qualified 2nd for the sunday final.
I been wanting to get on a Nytro all year. Jesse Strege called me about thursday and asked me if I found one yet, I said No he said I got one for you,
SO I was nerviouse about that all day. Because I ws racing Pro600. Well the time came agoing to qualify that Hass. 4 lap qualifier. I never honestly rode a Nytro for more than 3 miles prior to that. I was like oh my gosh I am going to wad this thing up. No such luck. I loved It "BA" 25 "pro" riders I qualified 13 and brian Carey was 11th on a Nytro also. I was supper stoked. Bone stock Nytro besides welded up A arms, No studs. stock carbides never riden the sled before 
Sunday rolls aroud And I am freaking out. For those of you that dont know me I have A.D.D haha :exc: So I took of the line side by side with trevor John and tryed to stay with him. Nope not happening. I held off Billy Baker for some time then I herd a Big Snapp. Oh No! I broke the rear Skid, I knew I was in trouble. because my Phazer would only go 35 mph. and the motor was working hard. The reak skid was not moving up and down. ever bump I hit would shoot the back end up like a wild horse. long story short I finnished 4th. Was I mad No I had fun and so did the other 18 phazer riders. look o nthe bright side I was a little rested up for the 20 lap Pro 600 finnal Whoo Hoo I do good in distance races. How ever 6 min laps and 20 of them was intimadating.
It went good I calmed down around lap 8 and set in a pace I thought was safe. because it was a mess. dirt, water . big sharp edges rock hard dirt. It was cool. I got around lap 10 and looked at the fuel gauge and seen I was still around full sweet. But I knew I need to pit in order to get credit.
so I pited on lap 13 took a gal of fuel and headed back out.
I got pass by ryon simmons twice and dj ekure, BA riders for sure.
I eneed up 13th and took home 500 buck. Pretty cool for my first pro race out of 25 riders. I was proud and so was Yamaha, I think they found a new driver on a Nytro. I will admit I really like the sled and felt right at home on it .
phazerSkid broke alot of stuff my Skidoo rear shock locked up and broke lots of brackets. Both shocks were dragging on the track. I got it all fixed up and ready to Rock Hayward Wis. I got studs coming for the nytro and I will also be ready to rock out on that.
Have to say Yamaha builds one heck of a sled. I have not been easy on ether sled and both are still running.

Oh man that sounds awesome stevo, I wish I could have made it down there for that one, how did the nitro feel compared to the phaze?

Thanks Guys, I have to say its been a fun year and were going to be racing our last race in hayward. I am sad because I feel like I made a difference in the phazer, I took the chalange to race the phazer. I spend so much time with that sled I am going to miss it. how ever I will share alot of my set ups and some issues I ran in to as they come up on t/y.
The Nytro is like the phazers mean brother, it's for sure a bully. HAha Awsome sled. They both are. how ever Dollar per dollar. If I wanted a BA sled for not alot of money the phazer is Kick butt.
