We picked up the stuff from the powder coater as well as the rebuilt shox so we were able to start putting things back together.

Skid.....

Did you sand blast the skid before? I am looking at doing mine.

ur powdercoater should prep the surface for you.

I have access to a sand blaster at work. Call me cheap but if I can save some money doing the prep, I will do it?

I'm sure any prep work you do may save you some money but most powder coaters do prep.

How much do you guys pay for powder coating? I also found a guy that had a carbon graphic kit install on his skid and it look good but I am not sure that it will last a long time. I am about to drop my skid and I am looking for ideas. I don't want to polish them even if those OFT extension look so good and feel bad covering them.

Keep the good work

The bill for all the powdercoating on this sled was $90.00.

Skinz seat cover is on the seat, and the other slydog wheels are now in.

Fly pivot adaptor, fly riser and fly carbon fiber bars turned out great. The only problem was that the stock handguards mounts ended up where the bars started to get fat. So he had to go with powermadd guards and mounts so he could mount them inside.

So here is what it is looking like. All that is really left is to mount up the Roest skid plate. He just needs to locate the hardware bag that came with it and we'll put it on.

What's he running for a track? Me and my brother both live in Winnipeg with xtxs and just did much of the same mods, track upgrades planned for next year. Wondering what to run? Backcountry?
