So because of the timing of when my sled came, I didn't have an opportunity to paint my panels like I wanted. So I just made my own wrap using a roll of gloss black vinyl. Here is the start of it. Still have left side panel, lower panels, side panel by seat, and trim piece by tank. Time consuming but really makes a huge difference.

That is how that should have come. Nice work. The black is night and day better looking. The gray looks cheap.

That looks really sharp, agree that this is how they should of come. Wonder if there is some kind of conspiracy with Cat as new 800 comes in gray also.

If Yamaha did the black panels instead of the gray....I would have told them I wanted the black/orange combo.

That will look amazing when you get the whole thing done

The SE was actually the color combo that I liked best. I figured if I was buying brand new that I was going to get the premium shock package, though. Besides I've always been a fan of the traditional Yamaha colors (Red, white and black. )
Bby had a great idea to get the color he wanted and swap shocks, though. Best of both worlds.

Awesome! Agree with NOS-PRO if this was the color combination, I would have bought this too. Who the hell thinks gray is a cool color anyways? Just as bad as the playschool colors that Cat had on the 93 Thundercat. Ooooops, they called that salmon I believe! Lol

looks awesome!!!

If you were to paint them, what kind of paint would you use on plastic? and would you just mask off the decals and paint around them?

That's gonna be the best looking winder on the trail bar none. Yamaha are you watching!
