DOES ANY HAVE A VIBRATION SOUND COMING FROM THE HOOD AREA, SOUNDS LIKE BODY PANUELS, BUT CAN NOT STOP WHEN I PUT MY HAND ON THEM, THE RATTLING IS THERE ANY TIME I,M OFF IDLE SPEED, I HAVE A 06 APEX RTX WITH 4000 MILES THANKS GOODDAY

Most likely it's your primary clutch rollers at idle. It's a known item, but not a problem. You can bump the idle up slightly if it really irritates you. I have over 9,000 miles on my clutches just keep blowing them clean with compressed air and change the spring occasionally. They had a update on some of the 3 cylinder Yamaha's where they put in some shims to quiet down the rattle but not on the 4 cylinder sleds that I know of.

hello my 09 rtx has a vibration at idle but if i push downon the head light and gauges it stops i'm new to yamaha..

Yes - I sometimes get an annoying buzzing sound from the gauge area. Just go faster!

Mine vibrates a little at the very front tip of the sled, behind the front bumper, where the lower plastic body panels come together.

Put a piece of 1/4" stick foam around the front of the bar that the hood latches on to at the front. My Apex had a vibration and that seemed to help. I had to fix it immediately after giving my buddy so much crap about his Cat rattling my fillings out.

Is it only when moving? Perhaps a driveshaft bearing if moving, or a blown roller in the primary causing vibes?

....just some ideas!
