I have a 03 rx-1 with a booncocker 25r. I'm going to be swaping to a 28rs or 2871 this year.

1. will the 28rs or 2871 be a direct bolt on? The main problem I can see is the westgate location. Even with the 25r there isn't much room for the westgate. Just wondering if there is any problems fitting the 28rs or the 2871.

2. Does Boondocker modify the westgate to make it fit? It looks like there has been some welding to the westgate on my gt25r.

3. What compressor cover do they use on the gt28rs? Is it a 3" inlet or 2.75? Also, what is the a/r on the compressor cover?
Thanks!

yes the turbo is a direct bolt on. We use a new actuator bracket to relocate the actuator. It also comes with a new linkage rod to connect to the wastegate.

the GT2860RS has a compressor that measures 47.2mm ind. 60.0mm exd. 62 trim and .60 A/R. The Turbine measures 53.8mm wheel a 76 for trim and a .62 A/R. The inlet is a 3" O.D.

Let me know if you have any other questions...

I already had the turbo. I got everything worked out thanks to Kyle at Boondocker. He was a lot of help.
