Guys,

after putting the sled together last winter and losing all the ice and snow the weekend before i was finished i still have not had a chance to run the sled off of the stand!!! Might have to get her in the grass before x-mas just to make sure it works. Couple questions for you.

1. Wideband....I will be running C-12, stock head gasket on a Powderlights 25r. 14+ lbs boost. What are the good numbers to shoot for on the Wideband WFO and part throttle

2. is the 25R efficient over 14-16lbs?

3. weight in clutch? target RPM at WFO

I have a 25R from powderlites, good luck with it. Lots of heat problems on my sled with that turbo, and they don't make a whole lot of top end. That turbo also doesn't like much boost on the big end. If your running flat land riding and trails they won't run big MPH with the filter behind the windshield, move it under the hood. Save your $ now and buy a fiberglass turbo hood before it melts all your plastics and dash board.

I have heard mixed reviews on both to be honest. We basically refabricated the whole kit to make it leak, and heat proof. Have a look at the thread I started about converting to the Jannetty Manifold. I don't want to take the wind from your sales I hope to god your kit is 1000% better then mine was.

Im glad you are not running the head shim. Don't touch the cam timing or slot the trigger either. If you have a flex section in your exhaust make sure and get a look inside and makesure it is not braided in there. If you are running the new fled it will be solid inside but have ribs.

Keep an eye on the coolant and the oil lines at the turbo. Keep em tight, but not TOO tight.

They have a way of easing off and weeping onto the red hot turbo... Ask me how I know...

I never really had any problems with mine still makes lots of power.I Just upgraded to the 28rs I hope it makes a difference or I just wasted 2 grand.Makes some heat but never had a problem with the lines melting.
