I bought an RX-1 stage one bender turbo sled last fall that had Boondocker nitrous installed. I've, uninstalled it to "uncomplicate" the turbo and because I don't think it's needed. I'm considering installing it on one of our stock Rx-1's. It shot right into the bender box with two nozzles. I'm considering installing it the same way on the stock sled. Also, it had clear lines that tied to the boost hose going to the carb bowls Where would that tie in on a stock rx-1? What function does it serve? How can I tell what HP shot it is set for? The previous owner said it worked fine (of course, they always do).
I'll attach a photo of the turbo install. Any info would be great!

I found Boodocker Nitrous installation instructions on their site. Both the turbo and non turbo kits look real similar at first glance. I think they will answer most of my questions.

If you can't figure it out from there, maybe TY username: efiguy can help you out. He is a Boondocker guy.

Those hoses I believe pressure the float bowls for the extra fuel needed. Horsepower level I am unsure of, and if you call someone from boondocker, they should be able to tell you what size it is.

To see what Hp Shot it is, Count the number of holes in the manifold. The little black plastic piece. They are 5 hp per hole then multiply it by two for the two manifolds. The clear hoses all tie together and go into the bowl vent hoses. Make sure they all are "T" together to make sure pressure is the same between all carb bowls. You can put the manifolds in the airbox, but you will gain more if you put the K and N air filters on and run the N2O throught them. If I remember right put 165 main jets in, one size colder spark plug and put the holtzman springs in the top off the carb. I am a dealer for Boondocker Nitrous and Have run this system on my old Rx-1. If you have the instuctions they will tell you everything you need.
