Just put a boondocker nos kit on a rx1 with a 30hp shot.
It runns the stock air box all hooked up it runns lean at mid range seems ok on top . What main jets and needle possitionb do you guys run?
It also dies when you touch the nos at idle is that comon?
My 2smoke did rev up.
Only does that when good and warm.
PS; I run 2 injectors to get even flow into the carbs.
Thanks.............

I am not familiar with the boondocker kit, but it sounds like the fuel is too rich, or the bottle needs to be a little warmed up or not siphoning the liquid nitrous off of the bottom end. You are correct, (although you should be wide open when engaging the nitrous), at idle, it should rev up. Sounds like fuel related to me.

It runs awesome on NOS I am talking about running without NOS.
Boondocker routs the vent line into the air-box, that lowers the pressure in the carb and reduces fuel flow, therefore I need to jet up, already richen out the mid range and that is all good. When you spray nos it pressurizes the carb shooting in extra fuel I used this system extensively on 2 strokes with good results and no problems. I can adjust fuel on NOS but need to re-jet for running without.

i'm running the boondocker on my sled (05 rx) with no issues on motor or nos unless you hit the nos right out the gate and flash the clutching past the rev limiter. i'm running tight clutching on the hose- 11000, only because i don't use it all the time, but works good if you're already underway. i'm also running the filters with a manifold into each filter, which i'm pretty sure is the manifold they use in the airbox. on the manifold there's a line to the float vent line to PRESSURIZE the float bowls to RICHEN the fuel when on th hose. if you aren't running the line to pressurize the the bowls and are instead trying to do it off jets your gonna run real fat when your not spraying. to answer your original question i'm running 165 mains(thing of going down to 162.5) 2- 2 1/2 turns on the air screws, stock needles and clip position, red holtman springs. hope this helpspowder muncher said:It runs awesome on NOS I am talking about running without NOS.
