Instead of adding a 900RMK to the family, i think im going to turbo my sled.

My dealer recommends the Boondocker Side mount for a turbo and an MPI for Supercharger. I want the turbo for the ease of upgrading to more HP.

Anyone have experience with the Boondocker Side Mount? I think im going to keep the 151 for the remainder of this season and add a 162 or 166 maverick on over the course of the summer.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

the side mounts are just hitting the snow, so it may be awhile befor we hear much about them, but I think they will work just fine not really any different than the front mount except turbo location and header pipe

Yup, the sidemounts are just now hitting the snow. If you don't want to wait and decide to put the SC in it you won't be dissapointed. I rode mine on the low bosst setting to get the carbs dialed in and now will be running max boost tomorrow for the first time in Cooke City, MT. Should get an easy 220 HP with it and will be riding from 6500' to above 10,000' in elevation. They are expecting bad (zero visibility) winter storms today with 10"-14" of fresh snow by 5PM which should keep guys out of the back country.

I report back with some ride pictures next week in the photo section.

Jim
