What is everyone using to power a boost gauge on an 07 Attack. What color wires in the pod are hot and ground? I'm new to yamaha. Help is appreciated.

I'm just looking for a hot wire and a ground. Can I splice into anything in the pod or do I have to run wires from something else.

The easiest way should be to wire into the outwire on the starterkey?

What color is it, my key switch has a harness going to it.

if you wire plus on gauge to brown in harness and minus on gauge to brown/yellow in harness the light on gauge only lights up when you switch the key. It only got 4 wires to/from harness, brown and brown/yellow is the out wire's and 2 others in. Wire on those and the gauge lights up even if you turn of the key causing the battery to drain...

So, + goes to brown and - goes to brown/yellow correct or else I'll end up draining the battery.
