I didn't find a whole lot of info searching this what is a good quality digital boost gauge that won't break the bank? Thanks

The best boost gauge you can buy is the GAP flasher from hurricane, lol. Blue tooth to your cellphone or ipad, definitely not cost effective tho.

Depends how cheap you want to be for the boost gauge. AEM is likely one of the better ones. You can buy really cheap ones on ebay, but you have to question the accuracy on those.

Where do you plan on mounting it I would like to be able to remove my hood and side panels without having to worry about wires. Btw eBay has that gauge for $366 just FYI

Nospro has it mounted onto his plastic area where the heated seat switch is,with Velcro, for easy removal.

That's a good idea how are these gauges working with the sidewinder? I thought I read a while back that td didn't recommend them

I use the AEM failsafe. Has boost and AFR.

Your gauge was what I was going to buy from Evo but after all the new laws in maine with noisy exhaust,i decided to get a gauge that I can mount down low,if I had the gauge where you have yours mounted,it would bring attension to my sled, may be modded, and than they would start looking closer.

How do you like the failsafe is it hard to install and program? How do you remove your hood with it on?

I spent a lot of time on the install to make sure I could have quick connects on the vacuum line, power, and AFR cables. Works great and easy to setup with the USB connection to laptop. Have values set for AFR, if they get close the gauge will change color and flash. It’s a nice feature for.
