I recently bought an outlaw built rx-1 with a gt2860, 1025 big bore with low comp weisco's 10.1. I am not familiar with bender's setup. It doesn't have a bov on it now, but I can see a blocked of spot on the ic for one. I am thinking of putting a greddy bov on it. I run it from 14-20lbs boost depending on conditions. The first ride it ran great, but after that has been running lean and not building boost, so I did a pressure test on the charge tube and found air leaking out of the caps, t's, tps, and where the throttle linkage mounts. I ordered billet caps and t's already. I'm wondering if the other leaks may be bad o rings. Has anyone heard of this before. Also some air comes out around the turbo intake housing. I ride from 6-9000ft. My pitot jet is at 350 and the main jets are 145. It also came with an msd ignition that isn't hooked up right now because the guy I bought it from said that some water would get into the spark plug caps and misfire. Is it worth putting this ignition on? I do 100% mountain riding.
I mix 50/50 race fuel up to 14lbs and 100% race over that.

Any input would help.

Why did the previous owner remove the BOV? I highly recomend one. You will get some serious stacking when you chop the throttle without it.

Of the leaks you listed the tee's are the most likely cause of hte lean condition. I have never checked the throttle linkage and TPS for leaks..... how much pressure are you putting to it to make it leak and how bad is the leak? No leak is good, but I am wondering how hard it is going to be to fix. Where on the turbo intake is it leaking? I'm not 100% sure I understand that one.

Is it always lean or only sometimes, or some throttle positions? How do the plugs look? Running race fuel you will eventually ruin the O2 sensor.

If it is running then don't mess with the jetting, but 145's sound REALLY big.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the MSD. Can't help there.

My guess is replacing the tees will cure your sudden lean problem. Hope this helps.

It lets out a little air at about 10lbs. I use soapy water and it makes small bubbles at about 10lbs. I am not sure if it is enough to worry about or not.

It seems to only be lean sometimes. when I first leave the truck it acts great and then after I get on it, it will go lean and pop a little. Then I slowly idle back to the truck.

I guess I'll put the t's and caps on the carbs and if that doesn't work I'll post again. They aren't leaking that bad, and I'm afraid they might not totally fix it, but I'll give it a try.
