I don't think there phones have dialers on them, because I left several messages with them before and never received a call back. Now that I think about it their computers may not have keyboards because they have never returned an e-mail from me either

What about the guys that never got their seat ,how long do we have to wait?
You would think they would be done and sent out.

After all the hassles was it worth the wait? How much weight did you save? Just curious

Guys, i cant stress enough to call BOSS. Get a tracking number and hold them accountable. That is totally unacceptable that you have not recieved your seat.

I got mine on Thursday. It arrived 3 weeks to the day that they said they shipped it. But I did call and get a tracking #. Looks great, and man is this thing light. Cant wait to install. Hey Matt. Are the photos of the install still on your website? I couldnt find them.

Matt: Even after grinding my brackets down in the rear, the seat is still making contact with them. I am afraid they will wear through the seat during the season. Also, I am having to put incredible pressure on the single snap in this area to the point of wondering about longevity. Did you have these problems? What will Boss's respose be if these areas wear through or tear?

Yes, my seat fit extremely tight as did most of the others. The key is to make sure you have it shoved as far foward as you can. The seat will come in contact with that bracket and yes that snap is tight. Im sure Boss would take it back for a second time if you would like more modifications done to it. Let me know if I can help...BBY

Thanks Matt. I will call them Monday. We tried two different seats on two sleds tonight and they just won't slide forward enough to sit flat on the snow tunnel. We really reamed on them to no avail. I love the way the seat positions the rider, but ours will need to be modified further. My buddy has given up and will be returning his for a refund if Boss will do this. He also will trade for an 05 if you know anyone who is interested.

Has anyone installed their new Boss seat with success. I sent mine seat back and called several times. They said they could not find the seat, but they had signed for it. They are sending me a different seat from the one I sent them. Also, I find that they only answer the phone about three hours a day, between 2-5 eastern. I want a job like that. I want this to work, but if they did not get it right the first time, which I can't believe and they don't get it right the second time, I will return it and put on an o5 seat. Their is no reason that a company should put a product on the market that does not work. Also, I am no engineer, but this seat should have been a plug and play item. I was not happy that I had to modify anything. I understand if this was something custom I ordered, but it was an off the shelf item. Matt, this is not a criticism on you, I just wished they were more upfront from the beginning.

I did not think my seat would fit either but i called boss and they said to remove some of the foam by the gas tank to allow it to slide forward, and i thought this was b.s. but i tried and it did work.it is not a plug and play set up i agree ,but it will go on and it looks and feels awsome.
