Weight savings with Boss

Stock seat without the tail light assembly came in at 14.5 lbs. Boss came in at 6.5 lbs. That's a nice little 8 lb reduction with just the seat! Combine that with the lighter Bender exaust I installed and I'm about 20 pounds lighter

Thats a nice weight savings. What color schemes are these seats available in? Do they offer an all black version? RX FUN

I ordered mine all black and really like the way it looks.

Ditto on the all black for me too. The Boss logo is in silver which matches the silver Yamaha letters on my exaust cover and the silver idlers. Looks real good

RX Fun, that's probably not a good question to ask right now. LOL.
Most guys had to their send the seats back for rework. Actually I'm just joking since it appears they are standing behing their product.

Try Mountain Performance Inc ( www.mountainperformance.com )if it is true that Bender quit making it. MPI might have one. I ordered the Whiteknuckle for mine though after a long wait for Bender back in '03.
