Can anyone tell me if a Boss seat off from and Apex Mountain will fit on a 2006 RTX? I have a chance to get a hold of one but not sure if it will fit on my short track. tx
All apex seats are the same except the foam firmness.So yes it will work

It will fit on a shorty just fine. I installed one last year. Boss seats come with directions you must follow to install -- you have to trim back some of the plastic surrounding the top of the rear tail light, so be sure you get the instructions with the seat. Also have to rivet two bottons onto the side of the tunnel that the seat snaps down onto to hold it on.

It of course will not fit, if it is an Apex flat bottom boss seat for the undertunnel exhaust. It must be a Boss seat for stock exhaust to fit. Unless, you are installing an undertunnel exhaust.? Find out which Boss seat your going to purchase as the stock exhaust seats are hard to find since they haven't been made for a while now.
