I bottomed out on my Hartman extended shorty this past weekend and the studs hit the piece of aluminum which used to hold the snow flap and also covers the heat exchanger crossover pipe. No damage to the pipe but I don't want this to happen again. Has anyone else had this happen and if so what should I do? Should I add some protection back there or what??

Also, I cant seem to keep the d@#m flap out of my track, it just keeps jumping up in there, anyone else have these issues with the 136 Ripsaw?

They will all tear up the piece that you are talking about if you have a 1 1/4" track with studs. Do a search or go to the TY tech page. I believe Mr. Sled posted a pic. of 1/4" aluminum stock riveted over the existing tunnel protectors. I did that, but extended it to the back of my tunnel extension to protect the cross over tube.
