Hey guys, I just wated to let you guys know, that if you change your jetting, to not get the jets confused with the powerjet jets. They are right next to the main jet. I changed the power jet to a 160 from 75, and the pilot jet. The main jet stayed the same at 135. I had the biggest bog in the mid range. I was going to change jets to a 145 main, to lean it out a little, when I saw I took out 75's! I never gave it a thought, and do I feel STUPID. But, think of it this way, I ran a 10.441 with this setup on asphalt. what will it do now? Just letting you guys know the jets are exactly the same in size, so don't mess them up like I did.

Terry this is your last weekend out on the asphalt, I hope every thing comes together with the k&n's. I'm looking forword to your results.

Hey 1xr - Yeap, my last time on asphalt, and then it is getting tore down for trail changes. Hoping for good results myself. Talk to you later.

nos-pro making a mistake does not make one an idiot.I couldn't change a jet if my life depended on it.here is my setup for my 04 rx-1 er:heavy hitters set up by bby, machined primary and split collars, machined stock helix and silver secondary[will try green spring and 47 and/0r 49 helixwhen racing on river]23/39 gearing, holtzman green springs, remove tool box and cupholder,137.5 main jet and one notch richer on needles and 192 1.343 roetin studs on ripsaw track.what do you think?did I miss anything?thanks for all your help.

TERRY

That jet is a "starter jet" , only effect is during start-up. In the
parts book it is called a power jet, not a good name.

dont feel bad you only had way too much fuel on start up that is all
it dose nothing for top end or mid ;)

helps to know buddy's

Thanks guys, I just have to watch more closely.
