After doing my carb cleaning a friend mentioned he had never cleaned his so I told him I'd give him a hand with it. What I notice what mine don't have is them o rings on the main pilot jets. Why his not mine? I did do the 165 main jet on mine and looked at my old ones no o rings. Are they nessasary? Thanks

Sorry about the double post lol
Mine had them on but they were getting so bad I took them off and left them off with no ill side effects. I think they were put on for steep hill climbing or hard landing cant remember so the engine does not stall.

They were originally for the mountain sleds to keep the gas in the little bowl within the bowl so that it would not loose gas on hills. Not really needed on flat land sleds. Not sure what year yours is but i dont think the early 03s had the little bowl in the bottom.
