Finally got my new to me nytro back together and noticed that my brake light doesn't work. Running light works fine but it is not effected by the brake lever. Any ideas? I'm a nytro noob

never had to trouble shoot this on the nytro but it's probably similar to other sleds. The problem is likely with the brake element of the bulb or the brake lever switch. I'd recommend pulling the bulb and having a look at it (it should be noticeable if this is it) or trying to find the brake lever switch plug and checking it with an ohm meter. It is probably open with no brake and shorted with brake.

You mentioned you took it apart, did you forget to plug it back in?

Ok, under the brake leaver there is a plastic piece. This is the switch. It is held in I think by a plastic rivet. It sometimes comes loose. Try playing around with that plasic piece to see if the brake light work. If it does then the rivet is just loose.

So i took the switch mechanism off and re aligned it so the lever threw it further. Works great now! Thank you

I've had to take the switch apart and clean the contacts. Apply some anti corrosion grease and it'll last a lot longer.

Glad it wasn't the bulb, I haven't found a way to replace it!
