I picked up a new Viper today. Did the 15 minute warm up. Then pulled it out of the trailer for a quick test. Barely any snow on the ground but enough to test it out. I immediately noticed at a slow speed I hear a clicking/chattering/grinding sound which I believe is coming from the track area. At medium speed I don't here it. Has anyone else experienced this? I have a short video but have no way to post it.

Sled has .7 hours and 1.7 miles

Thank you

Joe

I hear that at slow speeds on hard and icy trails.I think it is from the track clips going around front drivers, doesn't do it if loose snow on trail, or at higher speeds.
I have run it on a stand, turned by hand, can't see anything wrong, sled runs smooth with no vibrations.I noticed it last year late in the season when running on hard frozen trails.
First few rides on loose snow this year did not hear it, yesterday on sections of hard frozen trail I heard it again.

Thank you. That is exactly what I experienced.

How does Yamaha think that is acceptable. My SRX 700's never did that.
