Well its been snowing here in Nipawin for the past 30 hours or so. Woke up today with a bunch of fresh powder! I decided today I would pop the cherry on my XTX!
I drove out to Codette Lake (10 minute drive). I unloaded the sled, and ripped around on the ice and the trails around the lake. I put on 35 kms today. There was about 6 inches or so of fresh powder on the lake. Traction was terrible on the ice until I got moving, so I am thinking of putting on studs in the near future. And, I have to begin fiddling with the suspension to get that right.
Over all I had an absolute blast on the XTX today!

Is there much snow in the fields around bushfields? Is there enough to ride out of Nipawin? I'm going there this weekend, and wanna ride my '10 XTX soooo bad.

That is actually where I went today. I trailered the sled to the boat launch at bushfields and went around in there. There isnt a ton of snow but a good 6 inches I would say. There is definetly enough to get out of town. The ditches seem to have more snow than the fields do, but that might be because of the crop stubble sticking up past.Sask Attak said:

I'm loading the nytro up then!!! I'll probably go out on Sunday so if you see a black XTX on the lake it's probably me!
