I have looked at a couple sleds online but I'm not purchasing a sled site unseen. So if I go to the US and buy a sled I must wait state side for 3 days before I can cross back with my purchase into Canada?
Ouch! Buying site unseen involves a huge trust in someone you don't know. You send them the money they send you the bill of sale, you go down there and hope the sled is there for you to pick up and hope it all its said to be!
This how people are doing this? It doesn't sound right!

I read the guys posts on Ty. Told a lot about the person.
He took sled to dealer. I called dealer & got a report
on the sled.
I sent no money ahead. We met at dealership, me with bankdraft, him with sled. Easy peasy.
Sent paperwork to us customs 72 hours ahead. If I don't show with sled, so what.
Bot boat similar way . He drove 500 miles and so did I.
No money changed hands ahead of time. Boat was as he represented and I gave him bankdraft. ($30,000 deal)
