broken front pivot arm

I have a front broken pivot arm on the rear suspension on my 07 attak gt. How many people have had this happen, mine cracked in the tubes, not at the welds, I had these sand blasted & powder coated, wondering if this had anything to do with it?

Been there..done that as well as many others. The front pivot arms were updated in '08. Repairs that were covered under YES warranty after '08 were given the updated reinforced front pivot arm.

Mine broke at the upper shaft, about 3" from where the mounts and also at the lower tube about 3" from where the front of the transfer rod mounts.

the sand blasting and powder coating had nothing to do with it.

i have broken both the front arm and the rear arm on my 2006 rtx
the front arm is more common to break. and it absolutely breaks as you described.
i sheared the shock mount tabs clean off my rear arm.
send it to welterracer and he will fix it up for you.
