I have rolled my sled a couple times and it brakes everytime. I am to cheap to spend 500 when I do this so I cut little trapazoid shaped hunks of wood and glue them in. Then put wood screw through. Works until u roll again.
Then repeat process!

I bent a piece of sheet aluminum and riveted on to replace the broken tab. No problems as of yet and have been through 3 seasons of riding

On my 06 I had fabricated a replacement ear out of a galvanized multi-purpose framing hanger. It had an ear extension to the mounting point and wrapped the top and bottom of the plastic toward the center and was epoxied and through booted to the plastic light housing. Can't find any photos.

Just drill a little hole or 2 depending if tab broke right off (u can see inside) and run a zip tie. U can get some real heavy ones that are actually quite strong. when removing headlight, just cut zip tie or remove the 4 10mm bolts and remove whole assembly. had to do this to a few apex's... came to about a $.50 fix...

Mine has been broke for two years. Not worth fixing. Light stays in place even on bad rollover. I have a new light but screw it. I will just break it again anyways.

threaded rod and 4 nuts. once you get the hiegth adjusted fill the tabs in with jb weld. makes the whole area stronger. I didn't fill this one in and it just broke the tab ever shorter. I bought a new one and they started to brake so then I filled it with jb weld. I would recomend to anyone that hasn't broken theirs yet to fill it in. coat the bolt with a release agent like vasaline so you leave the bolt and nut on while it sets up.
