I broke my rear axle a couple days ago, the left side snapped about 2inchs in from the wheel. It was covered by yes glad for that. It was a 136 with a ice ripper xt. Theres about 6000 miles on the sled, skid was pulled this summer, new rear wheels added at that time. About 1500 on the track this winter before the problem. I havent hear to many problems with these, just wondering if any one else had the same problem. 2007 apex attak thanks Jeff

I had this happen on my CAT a bearing siezed up on the centre wheel and cut right threw the shaft!!!
Aluminum = not a good long term axle material.

About what i was thinking this never happens, both outside wheels were new this summer, greased the middle bearing, i did go over some large bumps got lots of air, maybe landed wrong. Thanks Jeff

Bad landings can be heck on the suspensions. These sleds are not really good jumpers. A smidge too heavy. Ya Know?
