broken suspension cable

pulled the skid out of my 06 attak and found a broken shock adjustment cable is this a common should I route the new cable the same way as oem any information will help thanks

Very common. In my experiences it breaks every 4k miles. I route it the same way and zip tie it extra secure.

I find that I never adjust it so I'm just going to leave it broken.

That cable cost me around 85 USD in Sweden.
Hope it wont break again. Its the second time in 6200 miles.
