- 2016 Viper MTX 141
Finally reached my limit blowing belts on a 2017 stock tune 153x2.25 BTX. Tried all the tricks discussed here - Swapped out my secondary with the wife's Viper MTX button secondary.
The helix has been cut for overdrive, so I think it might coil bind the stock Viper spring.
What helix and spring would be a good setup for deep snow, high loads?
I have 37, 43, and several others laying around.
Hopefully this will hold a belt from slipping, previous failures were heat related, off trail, in deep snow, high load, every time. Running an 8DN belt, RPM is good, has different weights and primary spring.
BTW, the roller secondary on the Viper has been working good! No issues so far, 300+ miles on and off trail. 33/35 TP with stock spring.
