RTX with a CK twin shocker revalve is a must. I did a Pioneer revalve as soon as I bought the sled and am sure saved me from breaking more parts than I already have. I am frustrated with mine lately as it has broken both front and rear skid arms this year. Mine does get run hard through bumps with an occasional launch in the air. Help up great for 5k miles and the last 1k this winter have been problematic. Still $150 in parts (bent 1 shaft) and labor to weld cracked arms and I was back on the trail. I am pretty sure the 08-09's had some beefier parts in the skid and better shock calibration.

my buddy bought a 2007 rtx with 3200 miles. blacked out with yellow ski loops.
(if it was anyones on here)
he had a ? about a "spanner nut" on the backside of the secondary. it was loose on the shaft & was wanting to fix it. i'll try & find a pic of it on the fiche

I just picked up an 06 GT with 1500 miles, pioneer performace clutch kit, and the guy gave me 4 sets of new carbides and 4 spare belts plus a sled lift. Sled has almost no marks on it and was spotless until I brought it home and had to take it for a spin through the back yard in grass. I got it for $4300, couldn't pass it up as I sold my 05 RX1 with 1400 miles for $4,000. I can't wait to get on this thing next year, it feels so much more comfortable then my RX's and a lot quicker.
