looking to buy 06 apex what should i look for

I have an 09 apex and have been happy with it i am looking at pu a 06 apex with round 6800 miles on it but very well taken care of the seller says .can anyone tell me what to look for so i do not get taken seller is asking $4900

ITs hard because aside from obvious abuse the seller could have babied it and you will still have the following maint items, at least ask him if he did any:

Exhaust donuts
Crack Y pipes
Cracked exhaust
W arm on skid
Wire out of rear ECS shock
Ask if it bottomed out a lot (is need shock revalve)
front end bushings
Any coolant leaks in the tunnel heat exchangers (they liked to crack on the 06's right behind the rear suspension mount point)
Handwarmers work ok?


Just some stuff to think about, I wouldn't let any of it sway you though its all typical maint on that year and can be remedied easily but it will take some money not a ton but some

Add to the list, at least possible failures in the near future, driveline bearings, boggies wheels, track, drive axle. I don't know, but I bought a 07 attak just 1 year ago for $5300.00. Had 6000 miles on it. Nothing was really wrong with it, but I have $2500 in maintainence repairs. Well for a couple grand more, I could of bought new.....or very close to new. I love my sled, and now I am so deep into it that I will keep it a few years, but I wish that I had just went with new, or at least much newer.
