Things going pretty well at the time. Mounted my tunnel reforcment plate that streches all the way back to the dropbraket. I also finally got my timbersled dropbrkt post 2010. I have a feeling that I cut the tunnel a little to much, but a 1/4" lower rear swingarmmount is not going to be the end of the world I think.
Yesterday I also mounted the runningboards that´s going to be welded to my custom rearbumper this weekend.
Driveshaft and track is going in tonight :-o

Driveshaft
Track
rear skid
Done!
Heard that the gearlinkage for the reverse would be a hassel to get right but mine went in with no trouble at all. Thought that I would also get in trouble with the track ,considering that I was alone and with the tall lugs making it really tight agains the front tunnelcooler. No problem ;)!

With everything tighten up incl the track I still thinks it sits a little low.... Maybe the bigger wheels and the taller lugs fools you.

Also cut out my side panels (4mm alu-sheet) for my custom rear bumper.

After asseble the rear skid I got 4 bolts left. 2 shorter for the mounting of the front skidarm into tunnel and the second pair for the rear ... But the 2 for the rear is like a 1/4 inch to long. I used the spacers supplied with the timbersled dropbrkts on the outside but they should, according to instructions ,be used on the inside dpending on what tunnel you use. Plus it doesen´t look so god with those spacers on the outside.

Really don´t like the look of the big old seat. Really thinking of a diy undertunnel exhaust to clean things out and make a custom rear bracket for the oem seat for now......

During the holidays I got the bronze powdercoat that I´ve been searching for. I think it turned out just the way I wanted. If I only could come up with the cash for a new skinz seat ; )
It was really nice to be able to stand on the sled for the first time.
The worst thing now is that we have the worst winter ever.......there is no snow what so ever #$%&*

Nice sled. but you need too paint your seat.

Yeah I agree. A little while I was thinking of goning with flatgray and red instead but I know there will be a skinz seat in it,at least til next season.
Can you actually paint the seat and make it stick under these condisions a sled is used in? Have you any color/brand to recomend?

I painted mine seat but the sled sit in the garage still. bought vinyl-paint from plasti-dip i think.
i know several people in norway that has painted their seats and it holds up pretty good, some has neded á litle touch-up paint after one season.
