I am replaceing the bulkhead on my 06 apex. I see some posts on here about the multi grip rivots. What is the difference between a multi grip rivot and an ordinary rivot.
I can get zinc coated steel rivot with zinc coated steel nail (same material as the stock rivots I beleive), full stainless, full aluminum rivots, from my local Acklands Grainger store right off the shelf. But they are not multi grip, Would any of these work for the bulk head.

The way they expand in the hole . The hole is actually slightly over- sized so a regular rivet is sloppy in the hole.

Thanks, I just found some of the 3/16 multi grip ones at my local bearing supply store. 500 pack for $50. I don't need 500 but thats all they come in. I guess I will have some for my next project.
